I-CANN - EXCITING NEW EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

 
 Advocate/Volunteer Co-ordinator (2 Posts) until April 2017

Salary: £21734 (pro rata)

Hours 30 per week


We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Advocate who will also work as a Volunteer Co-ordinator across Lancashire, on our new countywide Benefit Assessment Advocacy Project. (Funded until April 2017)

The successful candidate will be responsible for working flexibly to meet specific targets as part of a larger project and their duties will include:

  • Providing one to one advocacy support to clients, predominantly those undergoing Benefits Health Assessments.


  • For recruiting, training and supporting volunteer advocates to deliver this volunteer based project along with raising awareness of ICANN and our services.

You must either have some advocacy experience and/or experience of working with volunteers in a similar setting, be a good listener, and are able to speak up for others who are disadvantaged, have a disability or are vulnerable due to illness or other circumstances.
