Bev Garrity from the DWP Partnership Team will be at County Hall on the afternoon of 19th March 2pm 4.30pm, to give a presentation on Universal Credit and families, and also additional support that is available to those families. With the roll out of Universal Credit in this area to people with children instead of the previous client group of those without children, Beverley has offered to come and talk us through the process for claimants and how it all works in practice. It's a good opportunity for us to make sure we are up to date on DWP administration of the scheme, and to ask any questions we may have. I think quite a few people who are interested in the Money Matters work and Financial Inclusion work might be interested in attending. Anyone who is interested should email Joanne Barker with their details and Joanne will confirm they have a place.
