Register for our summer school, developed by community leaders for community leaders. We have 30 places available for prospective students to come along and experience our community leadership programme which is underpinned by the educational philosophy of Paulo Freire. Students will experience a dynamic and innovative programme, providing them with the skills for effective community action. The summer school is a short programme designed to enable students to become effective community leaders within various professional workplace situations. It follows a three stage learning process: theoretical perspectives, application of theory in practice, and reflection on application. The programme will engage the student in learning core skills in leadership and management, whilst also allowing them to explore concepts relating to community within a broader social and cultural context.
