Over the past week in the One Blackpool office we've been hard at working sending out membership packs to the fantastic and varied range of organisations who have signed up to join the cooperative. We've seen organisations from the small start up right through to the large and established queing up to take advantage of our range of member benefits. If you've not yet signed your organisation up to join don't forget that you still have until the 30th September to take advantage of our fantastic introductory offer, giving you 50% off your first years membership fees. Our team have also been putting preparations in place for a visit from the government's Social Value Ambassador, Chris White MP, who will be coming to Blackpool in September to join representatives from the sector for a special round table discussion. Over the coming weeks we'll be sending out invitations with details of how your organisation can join this valuable opportunity to put your views and questions to him and to showcase the work that you do. The One Support Fund is also still open for applications from One Blackpool members with up to £500 per organisation available to access support from the One Blackpool Bid Writing Service, Volunteer Academy or to gain STAR Standard accreditation with UR Potential. The funding available is limited and applications will be processed on a first come first served basis so apply today to ensure your organisation doesn't miss out.
