Have you heard of 'The Big Lunch' or already organising one?

It's all about getting neighbours, friends and community groups together-   Have a look on the website www.thebiglunch.com there are some fantastic FREE resources to help you get the Party started!

You may have already seen it on our facebook page, twitter or blog (see below) that Connect 4 Life are actively encouraging as many people as possible to get involved.

These events can be very easy to organise – they can be as big or small as you want. All that matters is that people reconnect with each other or make new connections –great way to promote your fantastic group-so whether it's a few neighbours and friends  a community group, a faith (or interfaith) group, a sports team or a workplace gathering the emphasis is to eat and have fun together.

So why not set up your own 'Big Lunch'?

Get it touch with us at Connect4Life if you would like any further advice, or help to organise/publicise your get-together.

To get the fun started we are running a competition for 'Big Lunches' held in Central Lancashire between the 30th May until the 30th June

£250 cash prize for best photograph of a Big Lunch in action

£150 cash prize for best story of how a Big Lunch was put together. (Prizes donated by local businesses)

The cash can be used for Community Group funds or can be donated to a charity of your choice-it is up to you!
