Sector Vacancies this week include…
Your Views Matter!
"Do you support people with long term chronic health conditions? We (CVS) have been asked to help the NHS locally hold a series of brief discussions with organisations who support service users and their carers who use hospital services on a regular but unplanned basis.
Often the words used to describe NHS services do not fully explain what the service is about. For example what does the word "Extensivist" mean to you? This time limited piece of work will seek to address this issue by asking those with experience of using services what they think and how some services may be better described .

If you would like to be involved please call us here at CVS on 01253 624505 or email us at

Blackpool Community Projects Fund now open
Formerly the Blackpool Council Small Grants Fund, the Community Projects Fund £5000 pot, is now open to  applications.

We are pleased to announce that we are now inviting applications for up to £500.

The Council would like to see this funding used to support the sector by disbursing small amounts to stimulate further  income or contribute towards community  activities.
We will be allocating the funding, and monitoring how the funding is being spent. It will be proportionate and appropriate to the funds available, and the needs of the sector.

Funding is non-recurrent, and no undertaking can be given that arrangements will continue past the end of March 2015.

If you wish to apply please download and complete the     application form and return to admin@cvsbwf.org

or for further information please contact us on 01253 624505

Community First funding still available
Applications are still open from voluntary groups working in Brunswick Ward and Claremont Ward for Community First funding.
