I did some considerable work on this last year and produced the attached document which may be useful.
 
Please note that the Walter Robinson Community Centre which is closed in August is re-opening at St Marks Layton and as soon as I get their new timetable I will be amending this document.
 
Also please note more soup kitchens like to be called 'Community Cafes' these days to take away the old stigma.

I'm taking it on trust that this information is current and well researched.... It is probabably not comprehensive..

the most up to date listing I currently have was compiled by the Blackpool Homeless partnership  a couple of years back and can be found here

BLACKPOOL: FOOD BANKS/ SOUP KITCHENS/help/advice/ etc

Care & Share:: Can help with clothing ,baby items,,bedding ,kitchen equipment, toiletries towels etc

Blackpool council The discretionary support team can provide emergency gas and electric a Food parcel and free furniture Apply through any library/childrens centre/online/or through any support worker: If you have children go to any Sure Start (Childrens centre) to ask for food parcel/ help /advice: or call at council or housing office:

MONDAY -TUESDAY -THURSDAY & FRIDAY : Salvation Army 12-30 to 1-0clock they serve a three course meal for singles or couples over 26 yrs Charge £1.

MONDAY: 7-.8.30pm Comfort zone side entrance Methodist church Dickson Rd hot meal ie jacket potatoe and fillings or stews or cottage pie; clothing and bedding and small food parcel plus for the homeless a sleeping bag and high energy drinks and granola type cereal bars a chance to have a wash and shave and most times a free haircut: Over 18s only:

WEDNESDAY Comfort zone Methodist church Dickson rd: 10am till 12 a breakfast and sandwiches to eat or take out and clothing and food parcels also help and advice: over 18s only:
WEDNESDAY – Helping hands Resource Centre Based at 29-35 Ripon Road , Blackpool: They open at 1pm . If people need help on a one to one basis they can telephone 07763 800352 and the Project Coordinator will arrange to see them

THURSDAY: the "New life Church " on Queen Victoria Road Near Revoes are open Thursday evenings at 7 for help and advice but not the first Thursday of the month x
THURSDAY:The Well: at Walter Robinson Court Community centre Layton free lunch on Thursday 11 till 1 and Fridays 12 till 2 :

SATURDAY: The Gateway: Blackpool Christian centre Opposite the waterloo pub: Every Saturday from 10am to 11:00am they have a free breakfast where all are welcome to come to; . They also give out food parcels but you must be there before 11am:
SATURDAY:The Well: Free breakfast at Walter Robinson Court Community centre Layton at 10 O'clock:
SUNDAY: the Well: at Walter Robinson Court Community centre Layton there will be sandwiches and tea/coffee cake at 3-30 till 5:

If you are age 16 to 25 MONDAY TO FRIDAY Streetlife provides shelter and support to vulnerable young people in Blackpool. The Base opens every day (except Tuesday) they help with food and clothing: Support is available during the day – call 01253 294477 or visit 48 Buchanan st. Support is also available at night – call 01253 291038 or go to the Shelter next to St John's Church at 7pm.

FLEETWOOD FOODBANK: The food bank is now at The old Fleetwood library (The McKee centre) Opening hours are from 3-30 to 5-30 Tuesday and Thursday. The focus will be not only on supplying food parcels to those in need, but also offering help and advice:They will also be running a "cook to eat" program which will be every Wednesday evening at the centre, teaching people to prepare cheap nutritious meals and helping them to budget ask to be referred at any local childrens centre:
