Computer access for public use survey.

As you may know it is increasingly important for everyone to be able to access and use computer technology especially when dealing with the public sector services (job searches, benefit enquiries etc.) Shown below is an inventory of DWP web access devices (WAD's) available to members of the public in Blackpool Wyre and Fylde.
6 in Fleetwood
11 at Blackpool North (Queen St.)
7 at Blackpool South (Tyldesley Rd.) – 4 are in a group session room, to be used for digital group sessions.
7 at St Anne's
These will be available for use from 9am-5pm Mon, Tue, Thu + Fri, and 10am-5pm on a Wed.#

There's lots going on in the sector including.... 

The Blackpool drug awareness event which is open to all; CVS advice sessions; Re-Live – Creating theatre with people living with dementia; International Men's Day being celebrated at UR Potential; and as always there are also sector vacancies and funding streams.
We would like to record all computer facilities available to the public in the third sector in Blackpool Wyre and Fylde as well, however we need your help to do so. Can you spare a few minutes to complete our survey?

CYPF Forum awareness event

Spaces are filling up rapidly!
We will now be holding this hugely successful event free in Blackpool on Wednesday 10th December. Once again it is open to all groups, networks and residents to attend and is an informative way to find out more about the types of illegal drugs that are on the market and their side effects. The next CVS advice session will be held on Wednesday 19th November from 12.30pm to 5.00pm. There's still time to book a slot. If you need help with issues like setting up a group, governance, finding and applying for funding, charity commission registration, publicity, business planning – anything to do with running a small voluntary sector group – then get in touch. read more
