Good News for Streetlife Project and Vulnerable young people in Blackpool

Great news for Streetlife, we have been awarded four years funding from the Big Lottery Reaching Communities. We will receive a total of £436,814 over four years.

This is fabulous news for Streetlife and will go a long way to sustaining the future of our work. This money will specifically fund exisiting work i.e. our Shelter team leader, Lifeskills worker, training residentials for young people and will also provide us with a new opportunity to employ a part-time counsellor and train volunteers in Level 2 Counselling.

We are all thrilled that Streetlife will be able to continue to provide vital support to vulnerable young people aged 16-25. Streetlife provides emergency and on-going support to young people who often have no-one else to turn to. This funding will help us to ensure they have access to a safe space and the support to develop their skills, address any issues and ultimately live a positive, independent life.

If anyone is interested in volunteering at Streetlife please contact tony.riley@wearestreetlife.org.
