Langley House Trust , Lancaster search for a Chaplain

You may be able to assist the Langley House Trust in our search for a Chaplain.. We are currently seeking to fill a vacant position in one of our registered care homes for ex-offenders in Lancaster, Lancashire.

As a Christian Charity providing a range of services to ex-offender we place Chaplaincy at the heart of our services, as we recognise the vital part that they play in the lives of both our staff and Service Users. The Trust was established in 1958 by a group of Christian professionals who heard the heart of God for homeless ex-offenders and set up our first project in Edenfield, Winchester. The trust now serves approximately 800 people each year through our residential, prisons and floating support services.

Chaplains do not have to be ministers within a church, but must have the backing of the church leadership and would preferably hold a position of responsibility within a church setting.

Would you be able to assist us in our search by possibly passing on our details within you organisation? If you would like to discuss this matter with me either by phone or in person, I am more than happy to set some time aside to facilitate this.

Our website address is below and is a useful link to find out further information about the Trust.

Yours in Christ,

Donald Graham
