| | | Free Training for Small Charities The FSI is bringing two days of free training to Manchester so small charities, wherever they are, can access the skills they need to become self sustaining. The Roadshow will offer training sessions covering a wide range of fundraising skills and techniques ranging from Developing Your Core Case for Support to Fundraising from Trusts & Foundations to Managing Volunteers. Whatever your interest you will find a topic that will enhance your skills and improve your ability to support your beneficiary group. The two training days are the 16 & 17 of April 2013. For more information and details on how to book click here. | | Do you need a photocopier? Mereside Children's Centre has a photocopier available free of charge. Konica Minolta 7216 photocopier free to any organisation who is willing to come and collect it. It is approximately 1m height and 60cm deep by 60cm wide and is on castors.
Due to the size of the item it is advised that a transit van may be required and it will most likely need two people to lift it.
The photocopier is an older model but it in full working order and has wiring and two toner cartridges included.

Third Sector organisations who provide mental health and wellbeing services can now sign up to be included in the new Insight Network online directory. It will include details of third sector mental health & wellbeing providers from across Lancashire and will be searchable by diagnosis, specialism and more. | | Disability Roadshow In partnership with Greenlands St Anne Church, Disability First is organising an event to highlight the services and support that is offered to the disabled community. The Disability First Roadshow will showcase the services that are available and how they can improve independence and quality of life. We are inviting disability organisations and services that support disabled people from the voluntary and community sectors, as well as partners in the statutory and private sector, to exhibit their services at the Greenlands St Anne Church on Friday 26th April 2013, starting 11am till 2pm. The Night Safe Haven Bus is a multi-agency partnership provision facilitated by Renaissance @ Drugline Lancashire. The project is currently seeking volunteers to support the service during operational outreach sessions. Volunteers will receive free and bespoke training and access to accredited learning. References can also be provided to validate your volunteering for your future.
